The level of negativity is diminishing, mostly because I've found a little balance and partially because the class I attended today met my expectations more than the other group as far as "peers" are concerned. I felt like I was around a prepared and knowledgeable instructor as well as other writers who were positive and constructive in their criticism (rather than snipey). The past few rants have had some karmic balance applied. It spurred me to take other classes I had considered, but was hesitant to explore after my longer course experience.
